Those who place themselves under God's control, to be led and guided by Him, will catch the steady tread of the events ordained by Him to take place. {7T 14} * We are on the very verge of the time of trouble, and perplexities that are scarcely dreamed of are before us.{9T 43} * By every teacher in our schools the only true God is to be uplifted, but many of the watchmen are asleep. They are as the blind leading the blind. Yet the day of the Lord is right upon us. As a thief, it is coming with stealthy tread, and it will take unawares all who are not watching. {6T 166}.

We are standing on the threshold of the crisis of the ages. In quick succession, the judgments of God will follow one another--fire, and flood, and earthquake, with war and bloodshed. {PK 278} * The Tempest is coming and we must get ready for its fury by having repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord will arise to shake terribly the earth. We shall see troubles on all sides. Thousands of ships will be hurled into the depths of the sea. Navies will go down, and human lives will be sacrificed by millions. Fires will break out unexpectedly and no human effort will be able to quench them.
The palaces of earth will be swept away in the fury of the flames. Disasters by rail will become more and more frequent. Confusion, collision, and death without a moment's warning will occur on the great lines of travel. The end is near, probation is closing. Oh, let us seek God while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near! {MYP 89,90}* In the last scenes of this earth's history war will rage. There will be pestilence, plague, and famine. The waters of the deep will overflow their boundaries. Property and life will be destroyed by fire and flood. We should be preparing for the mansions that Christ has gone to prepare for them that love Him.

{Mar 174} * The plagues of God are already falling upon the earth, sweeping away the most costly structures as if by a breath of fire from heaven. Will not these judgments bring professing Christians to their senses? God permits them to come that the world may take heed, that sinners may be afraid and tremble before Him. {3MR 311} * God has a purpose in permitting these calamities to occur. They are one of His means of calling men and women to their senses.By unusual workings through nature, God will express to doubting human agencies that which He clearly reveals in His Word. {19MR 279} * How frequently we hear of earthquakes and tornadoes, of destruction by fire and flood, with great loss of life and property! Apparently, these calamities are capricious outbreaks of disorganized, unregulated forces of nature, wholly beyond the control of man, but in them, all God's purpose may be read. They are among the agencies by which He seeks to arouse men and women to a sense of their danger.
{PK 277} The crisis is stealing gradually upon us. The sun shines in the heavens, passing over its usual round, and the heavens still declare the glory of God. Men are still eating and drinking, planting and building, marrying and giving in marriage. Merchants are still buying and selling. Men are jostling one against another, contending for the highest place, pleasure-loversare still crowding to theaters, horse races, gambling halls. The highest excitement prevails, yet probation's hour is fast closing, and every case is about to be eternally decided. Satan sees that his time is short. He has set all his agencies at work that men may be deceived, deluded, occupied, and entranced until the day of probation shall be ended, and the door of mercy forever shut. {ChS 51.2}The restraining Spirit of God is even now being withdrawn from the world. Hurricanes, storms, tempests, fire and flood, disasters by sea and land, follow each other in quick succession. Science seeks to explain all these. The signs thickening around us, telling of the near approach of the Son of God, are attributed to any other than the true cause. Men cannot discern the sentinel angels restraining the four winds that they shall not blow until the servants of God are sealed; but when God shall bid His angels loose the winds, there shall be such a scene of strife as no pen can picture.—{6T 408} The days in which we live are solemn and important. The Spirit of God is gradually but surely being withdrawn from the earth.Plagues and judgments are already falling upon the despisers of the grace of God. The calamities by land and sea, the unsettled state of society, the alarms of war, are portentous. They forecast approaching events of the greatest magnitude. The agencies of evil are combining their forces and consolidating. They are strengthening for the last great crisis. Great changes are soon to take place in our world, and the final movements will be rapid ones.--{9T 11}. We are near the close of time. I have been shown that the retributive judgments of God are already in the land. The Lord has given us warning of the events about to take place. Light is shining from His word, yet darkness covers the earth, and gross darkness the people. "When they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them; . . . and they shall not escape."The Lord is removing His restrictions from the earth, and soon there will be death and destruction, increasing crime, and cruel, evil working against the rich who have exalted themselves against the poor. Those who are without God's protection will find no safety in any place or position. Human agents are being trained and are using their inventive power to put in operation the most powerful machinery to wound and to kill. The judgments of God are in the land. The wars and rumors of wars, the destruction by fire and flood, say clearly that the time of trouble, which is to increase until the end, is very near at hand. Soon grievous troubles will arise among the nations—trouble that will not cease until Jesus comes. As never before we need to press together, serving Him who has prepared His throne in the heavens and whose kingdom ruleth over all.{CCh 336-7} seventh day Adventist.
We the8church believe that
- In the book of Revelation chapter two and three, there are seven prophetic sections of church history, covering the period when the wheat and tares are growing together. However, we do believe that the last section, the Laodicean (Seventh-day Adventist), is to be purified, spewed out, and come to an abrupt and cataclysmic climax. As the church undergoes this thorough house cleansing, it becomes a pure church without spot or wrinkle. This pure state of the seventh church is symbolized by the candlestick in the fourth chapter of Zechariah, which is the eighth in number so far as candlesticks are concerned. This purification of the sons of Levi will bring about a change of administration and organization, even as anciently the Kingdom was "rent from" Saul and given to David (1 Sam. 15:28).
- We believe that the Seventh-day Adventist Church is the 7th Church mentioned in Rev 3:14-18, “The Laodicean Church”, which is now passing away and will be succeeded by the8church.
- We believe in the writings of Ellen G. White, a prophetess and one of the founders of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
- The 27 Fundamental Beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
- Along with personal Messages God sends directly to us.
- The “Investigative Judgment of the Living” has begun with the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The “Judgment of the Nations” has begun. The Sealing of the 144,000 has begun. The restoration and gathering of the 12 Tribes of Israel has begun, and the tribe of Judah will be gathered first. The "Active Spirit of Prophecy" was quieted with the death of Sister Ellen G. White in 1915, but is now re-manifested in the8church. The Medical Missionary Work is the right arm of the Gospel and will play an active part in its proclamation. The racial makeup of ancient Israel consisted of the negroid race and the 144,000 are lineal descendants of Jacob, whose leaders will consist of black people, who were brought to the Western Hemisphere by the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade.
